The team at CYTC and Blystra Arts believe that the arts is for everyone regardless of background and economic status. We want to be able to offer every young person in Cornwall the opportunity to take part in theatre and performance, and we’re passionate about offering these opportunities to anyone who wants to be involved whatever their economic status.
Invest in Cornish Culture
Each year approximately one quarter of our membership (of our main company) are young people taking advantage of our highly subsidised supported fee rates, which are made possible only by donations, business sponsorship and funding from both private and public sources.
External funding support also allows us to keep our general company fees low for all the young people we work with and to pay the professionals we work with at industry standard rates, ensuring a robust business model and in turn investing in a Cornish culture sector which benefits everyone and is thriving and vibrant.
