Street Theatre and Improv with Hotchpotch Performance

We’re excited to be able to offer current members and anyone aged 12 to 22 years the chance to take part in a workshop with iconic local performance company Hotchpotch Performance.

Hotchpotch are an outdoor arts’ company based in Cornwall, who blend circus, street theatre and visual arts to create spectacular yet intimate works for all ages. You have probably seen them at an event somewhere in the county, on stilts, as a walkabout troupe on the high street, or maybe you’ve seen one of their living statues in a town centre or festival?

In this workshop there will be a big focus on improv group games, and learning some important interactive, walkabout theatre skills, techniques and titbits.

Improv and street theatre are completely different styles of performance to shows, so this is a great workshop for anyone wanting to extend their performance skills in to another area.
