Characters and Caricatures
with Shazz Andrew

In this spring skills’ workshop, open to current and new members, you’ll explore the Characters & Caricatures of playwright Nick Darke with actor and director Shazz Andrew.

Using sections from some of Nick’s most comedic and iconic plays, Shazz will work with the group to come up with short pieces of performance which the group can share by the end of the session.

This skills session has the potential to lead to a performance opportunity in Another Darke Night, a celebration event of Nick Darke’s life happening at Penlee Open Air Theatre on the 10th of June.

If you would like to perform on the 10th, then you will need to be able to commit to this initial skills session and the other rehearsal dates:

• Sun 25th May
• Sun 1st June
• Sun 8th June
• 10th of June – Final Performance

Rehearsal times on these Sundays are 10.30am – 12.30pm.
